Sunrise Living - Memory Care Facility

Sunrise Living is a facility for memory care patients that aims to uplift residents through bright colors, natural light and open spaces. The common living space is framed by large windows to bring in natural light and views of nature from the enclosed garden. The room consists of seating areas for residents to socialize with one another or visitors. There is an electric fireplace with shelves on either side that store books, puzzles and board games for residents and guests. Residents are given personalized room entrances with their name next to their door in a matching color. Rooms are easy to find through wayfinding which is applied with the use of landscapes of nature and paintings of animals  to help guide residents and visitors through the facility. The images allow residents to remember where their room or another public space is located along with providing them with  a calm and serene scene.
